Biking On Sundays in Guadalajara
Every Sunday a main avenue running through the city center is closed to cars and given over to bicyclists, runners, walkers, strollers, skateboarders. Its pretty amazing to think that this is a city of a few million yet the city does this every Sunday for its people. I couldnt imagine Fresno shutting down Blackstone avenue or Shaw every sunday so families and friends could enjoy each other's company while walking or biking, what a different culture.

Guadalajara - Longostinos!
This is the first meal I had during my first week here in Guadalajara. Oh this was sooo good!
Started off with a seafood cocktail: octopus, clams, oysters, fresh avocado, red onions in a fresh tangy tomatoey sauce.

I ordered the Longostino plate, WOW. This is something you dont see too much in American resturaunts where the choices are usually shrimp or lobster. Longostinos are very large shrimp with lots of meat. These were cooked in a thick creamy tomato and chili sauce. The rice was fragrant and very tasty too. I squeezed some limon and my taste buds were screaming Revolutionary cries.

I had to show an after photo

After this awesome meal and 3 Negro Modelos and was offered this after liquer, creamy with tequila.
